Sustainability Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Schneider Electric GmbH.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-impact services and solutions that create client value, environmental impact reductions, and develop / track performance against client goals and strategies.
This position is based in the DACH region and multi-country in terms of client scope.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading advisor on decarbonization and join a team driving significant impact via our extensive global client base.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and partner with clients in implementing sustainability strategies and solutions.
- Manage client projects by managing resources, timely delivery and team culture while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Conduct process and deliverable review with other advisory team members in a peer review and mentoring capacity.
- Support business development and sales colleagues with expertise in proposal development and in client-facing sales meetings.
- Organize, inform, collaborate and partner with multi-disciplinary teams within Schneider Electric to help coordinate service and solutions delivery.
- Contribute to team performance and support client renewals.
- Support innovative services from initial idea creation through potential implementation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical field with 3-5+ years of related professional experience preferably in sustainability management or corporate consulting.
- Track-record in managing client projects and project teams.
- Thorough experience in at least one of the following areas: CSRD Consulting, Climate Risk Analysis, Biodiversity Footprint Analysis.
- High commitment to company vision, values and excellent client service.
- Proven track record in developing, managing, and executing client solutions.
- Progressive history of building successful relationships both with internal network of colleagues and external clients.
- Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, complex analyses and ideas in a concise, persuasive manner.
- Experience and comfort in client-facing settings.
- Analytical self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple complex projects in diverse areas, versatile and capable within multiple disciplines.
- Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and German.
