Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the LCV APS-2 Germany project, ensuring timely and effective execution. This role requires a highly qualified individual with extensive experience in logistics operations, management, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with company and LOGCAP Program objectives.
- Manage project setup, subcontracting strategy, contract changes, and required reporting.
- Coordinate and control projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Represent the program and KBR in client and customer interactions, ensuring professional representation.
- Oversee LOGCAP services, operations, and equipment maintenance at the APS.
- Lead a workforce of less than 1,000 direct hires and subcontracted employees.
- Provide clear directions to employees on compliance with company, customer, and local standards.
- Instill a culture of continuous process improvement and high performance.
- Review and make recommendations on daily operations.
- Ensure the Program Management Office (PMO) has timely, accurate, and relevant information.
- Build positive professional relationships with internal and external entities.
- Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.
- Maintain awareness of operational issues and analyze performance indicators.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Government issued Secret Security Clearance and maintenance for the duration of employment.
- Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree in Business Administration or Management preferred.
- At least 15 years of management experience in United States Army logistics operations, with relevant experience at the brigade level or higher.
- 15 years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience in military tactical and logistics fields preferred.
- Experience managing 500+ employees.
- Advanced knowledge of military equipment maintenance programs.
- Experience with U.S. financial management systems and STAMIS, GCSS-Army, and USR.
- Highly organized self-starter with ability to manage competing priorities.
- Project management skills, including forward thinking, leadership, accountability, flexibility, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
