About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Raisin. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliance risk analysis and monitoring to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regulatory compliance support, including analysis of business impact and implementation of compliance measures.
  • Assist with the maintenance and review of company policies, including compliance with capital markets regulations, directors' disclosures, and outside interests and hospitality registers.
  • Onboard and monitor commercial partners, including research, PEP/Sanctions checking, and screening.
  • Develop and deliver annual compliance training to new joiners.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of reporting to committees, Board, and external audits.

Requirements

  • Background in regulation, risk management, and/or compliance, with experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the European legislative framework or German context.
  • Alternatively, a background in business administration with relevant transferable skills and project management experience.
  • Degree-level education in the above-mentioned fields or relevant industry experience of at least 4 years.
  • Confident operator able to work with all levels, from junior to C-suite.
  • Able to deliver high-quality insight and reporting in various formats, comfortable with handling data and internal tooling.
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • We will support additional training for relevant qualifications.
