Digital Transformation Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our key Digital Technology growth and efficiency programs in Energy Markets/Trading. As a Digital Transformation Lead, you will drive cross-regional and cross-functional digitization to transform E.ON into a digital-first energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of large and complex solution programs, ensuring successful go-live and operation.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to secure buy-in and support for the program.
- Accountable for project governance, managing dependencies, risks, and budget to ensure successful delivery.
- Play a leading role in building our Expert Services practice in Germany, focusing on people and business development, capability building, and recruiting.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their needs and tailoring our offers to address their challenges.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading complex digital technology programs, including project management, design, development, testing, rollout, and operations.
- Strong consulting skills, from strategic thinking to problem-solving, effective communication, customer orientation, and organization.
- Broad technology knowledge and expertise in areas such as Business Transformation, Change Management, Digital Service & Platform Development, Rollout & Industrialization.
- Experience leading delivery teams across multiple locations and vendors, managing external partners in dynamic environments.
- Experience in building and running a practice, including capability and people development.
- University degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Fluent in English and very good German language skills.
- Ideally, knowledge of the energy sector and grid business.
