Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at MEININGER Hotels. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to support our hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the best value for money
  • Negotiate with suppliers to establish purchase contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Monitor vendor performance and take action to address any issues
  • Proactively propose improvements in procurement processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities and provide analyses and reports to the Head of Procurement
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in hospitality a plus
  • Experience in hotel operations and/or hotel purchasing activities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hotel Management, or equivalent
  • Ability to develop purchasing strategies and review procurement contracts/frame agreements
  • Business fluency in English and German or French, with other language skills a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
