Procurement Manager Job Description

Herbliz, a leading company in the cosmetics and dietary supplements industry with a focus on CBD products, is seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and Supplier Management:
    • Develop cost-effective strategies for purchasing materials used in the business.
    • Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while scouting for additional vendors.
    • Evaluate spending operations to enhance product quality and delivery timeliness.
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Oversee the entire supply chain to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services.
    • Identify potential obstacles affecting productivity and implement risk management procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Contract Negotiation and Legal Compliance:
    • Work with the legal department to ensure favorable contract terms.
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to maximize value while minimizing risk.
    • Monitor compliance with laws and regulations related to procurement.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise a purchasing team, delegating tasks across departments when necessary.
    • Set objectives, review performance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Market Research and Trends:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Source new potential suppliers and explore market opportunities.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
    • Previous experience as a Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager (minimum of 3 years).
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
