The Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology IDMT is a leading research institution in the field of applied electroacoustics and audio engineering, AI-based signal analysis and machine learning, and data privacy and security. Our team is working on technologies for robust, trustworthy AI-based analysis and classification of audio and video data, which are used in various applications such as industrial production processes, traffic monitoring, and media context.
The Media Distribution and Security (MDS) group conducts applied research in the context of media forensics, media security, privacy, and trustworthy AI. Our developed technologies can be used for disinformation detection, media authentication, and privacy-aware analysis and recommendation in a wide variety of application areas.
We are looking for a Student Assistant to support us in the development of AI software projects, signal analysis, and data protection. The ideal candidate has above-average knowledge in Python, Tensorflow, Javascript, Git, and Docker.
