Job Description

Covestro is seeking a highly skilled Workday Extend Expert to join our IT&D HR team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the Workday Extend roadmap within the IT&D HR landscape in line with the HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Workday Extend and its applications
  • Collaborate with IT&D and HR teams to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements for Extend applications
  • Design and implement solutions to meet business needs
  • Manage the coordination of global projects and ensure operational stability of Workday Extend applications
  • Test and verify Workday Extend applications to ensure compliance with internal controls
Requirements
  • Strong background in information technology, business informatics, or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of experience in Workday Extensions and software programming with JSON, XML, and JavaScript
  • Experience as a Workday Extend Consultant, preferably in the implementation of new Extend solutions
  • Excellent consulting and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively participate in multiple projects of varying sizes
  • Strong solution orientation and ability to work in a global team
  • Business fluent English and German, as well as experience with project management methods (SDLC, Agile)
