Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled DevOps and Security Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our AWS-based Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure high availability and peak performance of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. Additionally, you will develop and implement a robust security strategy focused on achieving ISO27001 certification.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain our AWS-based Kubernetes clusters.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of services such as Keycloak, Dagster, Temporal, Snowflake, Airbyte, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and NGINX Ingress Controller.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Develop and implement a security strategy aligned with ISO27001 standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Implement and manage security controls to protect data and infrastructure.
- Lead the preparation and documentation for ISO27001 certification audits.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and best practices.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps and infrastructure management, specifically with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of ISO27001 standards and certification processes.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is desirable.
