Software-defined networking (SDN) is a cornerstone of the Software-defined Vehicle, requiring robust security configurations for the network due to the increasing complexity of communication streams.
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate with a strong background in embedded security and cryptography to conduct in-depth analysis of key agreement protocols, focusing on embedded shared media applications.
The ideal candidate will develop novel approaches for peer authorization and create tools to efficiently derive security configurations for automotive Ethernet networks.
Key qualifications include:
- Excellent Master's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Mathematics, Communications, or comparable
- Strong background in (applied) cryptography with a focus on network security and cryptographic protocols
- Good software development/programming skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic with an independent and creative way of working
- Fluent in English
