Job Overview
Leidos is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support enablement of EUCOM's mission objectives in a mission-focused environment.
About the Role
The selected candidate will serve as a Network Administrator on a Team supporting EUCOM as the command implements network automation and orchestration as well as software-defined networking. The Network Administrator will be responsible for configuring devices within the managed WAN, LAN, Security Architecture, and Data Center for multiple networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure devices within the managed WAN, LAN, Security Architecture, and Data Center for multiple networks.
- Understand how systems and applications interoperate within an enterprise IT environment and perform troubleshooting efforts across different technology teams to solve complex problems.
- Have experience and technical knowledge of both Enterprise and Data Center networks in addition to network security technologies.
- Work in dynamic fast-paced environments that require team interaction and synchronization of efforts across several projects.
- Interface with both internal and external executive leadership.
Requirements
- Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain
- BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
- Extensive operational experience maintaining network infrastructure
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- DoD IAT Level III or greater
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator as minimum Computing Environment Certification
- Enterprise level experience designing, engineering, operating, and maintaining network security infrastructures
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v3 or v4 – Foundation
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (Enterprise, Data Center or Security)
- Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
- Experience with DoD IT security requirements
- Experience managing metrics supporting Critical Success Factors (CSF)
