Technical Training Expert for Caterpillar

Job Overview:
Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical or Mechanical Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for providing technical training to customer and dealer technicians, as well as Caterpillar employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for diesel and gas engine technology, including practical and theoretical training sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new training content, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct training sessions at our Engine Training Center in Kiel, as well as on-site and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
- Stay up-to-date with new technical solutions and technologies, and troubleshoot and modify training equipment as needed.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to develop and maintain high-quality training programs.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel and gas engine technology, including electrical and control engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- High degree of flexibility and independence, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a field service technician or several years of experience working on medium-speed engines.
- Knowledge of medium-speed diesel/gas or DF engines, including Caterpillar/MaK or comparable engines.
