Third Party Governance Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging role in procurement and supplier management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Third Party Governance Specialist to join our team at Hannover Re.
About the Role:
- You will serve as the central interface to our suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- You will translate regulatory requirements relevant to the procurement process and ensure compliance with our standards.
- You will generate centralized internal and external reporting for monitoring regulatory requirements.
- You will advise internal customers and third-party managers on necessary risk assessments.
- You will manage third-party governance, working closely with our procurement team.
- You will conduct regular supplier audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in business administration, economics, law, sustainability management, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in international supplier (relationship) management, vendor management, procurement of indirect goods, or a willingness to develop these skills.
- Experience conducting audits and assessments of suppliers and contractors.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and relevant laws and standards in the procurement process.
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in procurement and service management tools.
- Proficient user skills in German and English, with a flair for negotiation.
