Our mission is to bring meaningful insights to parents about their child's wellbeing through our innovative sensor bracelet and accompanying app. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Supply Chain Manager.

Your Mission:

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy to support the growth of our hardware product. This includes:

  • Developing and executing a supply chain strategy to support the growth of our hardware product.
  • Understanding the in-house assembly process of a wearable product and translating those needs into manufacturing requirements for our suppliers.
  • Working with internal designers and suppliers to improve component design, reduce manufacturing risks, and close capability gaps.
  • Steering tooling availability, equipment readiness, and process qualification at suppliers to enable the initial production of new components on time.
  • Working with the supplier to decide on technical solutions to gradually automatize production and help ramp up high-volume production lines.
  • Identifying and onboarding reliable suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions, and establishing strong relationships to ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery.
  • Managing inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs and ensuring a smooth flow of materials.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and sales, to align supply chain activities with business objectives and timelines.
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Mitigating risks associated with supply chain operations, such as disruptions, delays, and quality issues, by implementing effective contingency plans and fostering proactive communication.
  • Helping in the development process of the enterprise resource planning systems by bringing invaluable expertise.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management, preferably within the hardware or technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and tools, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Experience in building and managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and conducting supplier performance evaluations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a startup environment with minimal supervision.
