Job Title: Quality Cost Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Cost Engineer to join our team at INEOS. As a Quality Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the business in cost engineering on field topics, gathering and consolidating costs related to field measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control processes and best practices to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Participate in meetings and committees focused on field actions and recalls, and engage in cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate the implementation of cost control measures and financial strategies to achieve high supplier charge back acceptance rates in collaboration with purchasing.
- Ensure proper processes and documentation to support smooth negotiations with suppliers on cost recovery (efficiency).
- Track expenditures related to field actions and recalls against budget, and develop and implement cost control processes and best practices.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in economics, accounting, finance, or similar studies.
- Experience in Quality Management and in Automotive Industry, preferably in the area of field Quality.
- 5-7 years of experience in cost management and cost recovery processes, including negotiations with 3rd parties.
- Strong understanding of field actions, recalls, and the associated cost management.
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
