Enterprise Architect Network Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team at Telefonica S.A. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network and/or OSS technology and will play a key role in shaping and implementing groundbreaking solutions in the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a comprehensive target architecture vision across all technology domains, considering business requirements and sustainability.
  • Closely collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to operationalize technology architecture and ensure alignment with business areas.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to management on technological and architectural issues related to system development and integration.
  • Drive the specification of architecture and design patterns for developing digital architecture and microservices-based solutions across network, OSS, and BSS domains.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, platforms, and frameworks, and incorporate them into the planning and transformation processes.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance for the implementation of new tools, technologies, solutions, and methods.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or Telecommunications.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and solution architecture, including Service and Network Architecture, technical architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and application architecture.
  • Proven track record of architecting and designing solutions across hybrid application and system landscapes.
  • Experience in leading and implementing technology prototypes, proof of concepts, and reference implementations.
  • Successful experience in planning and executing technological transformation projects in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge of current and future technologies and telecommunications standards.
