About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software Architect to join our Business Services department at evosoft GmbH in Nuremberg. As a pioneer in software and cloud architecture, you will collaborate with colleagues from various evosoft locations, assist other architects with complex problems, and participate in various projects across all evosoft business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Create or optimize software products for our customers using innovative architecture concepts and methods.
  • Design software and system architectures based on cloud technologies and implement them in coordination with team colleagues, customers, and users.
  • Take technical responsibility for the realization and further development of complex software solutions and share best practices with the company.
  • Conduct code reviews and independently accompany or implement prototypes and MVPs.
  • Represent your concepts to colleagues and customers, ensuring a steady project progress with your project team.
  • Work within a flexible and agile software development process, applying DevOps methodologies and concepts, and ensuring robust and efficient software design while adhering to security and safety aspects.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable education/qualification.
  • Knowledge of software development from various backgrounds (e.g., .NET, Java, Python) and/or data modeling, structures, and properties (database systems, Big Data).
  • At least 5 years of experience in conceiving and designing complex software architectures (preferably enterprise systems) and/or software lifecycle management (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with key architectural styles and approaches and the ability to design, evaluate, and document architectures.
  • Broad interest in technology, inspiring colleagues and customers with your passion for it, while being motivated to learn new technologies.
  • Business fluency in English and German.
