crossconsulting GmbH is an independent management consulting firm specializing in financial services, including banks and insurance companies. As part of a corporate group with company builders, venture capitalists, and personnel service providers, we work with around 40 consultants for our clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We are experts in strategy and transformation projects, which we not only design but also implement.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting digital transformation or process optimization projects, particularly in the areas of credit business, securities business, and payment transactions
  • Assisting the project manager in project management and taking on the role of a business analyst/engineer
  • Performing requirements management/anforderungsmanagement, i.e., collecting, analyzing, specifying, and prioritizing functional requirements at the interface between functional departments and IT
  • Advising and accompanying our clients in the development of their digital target processes and thinking end-to-end
  • As a Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate uncompromising commitment to the client's goals, combined with strong solution and implementation orientation
  • Independent work, combined with high motivation and high quality standards, is a matter of course for you
Requirements
  • You have successfully completed your economics or engineering degree (BWL, VWL, Wirtschaftsinformatik, etc.)
  • You have knowledge of banking processes, particularly in the areas of credit business, securities business, and payment transactions
  • You combine your expertise with a broad understanding of IT processes - ideally in the areas of service-oriented architecture, API management, cloud technology, or comparable technologies
  • You have methodological knowledge in process analysis, business analysis, test management, and creating functional concepts or IT specifications
  • You have experience in various project management styles (e.g., agile project management)
  • You have the willingness to take on new challenges in the consulting environment
  • You have a passion for teamwork and working with people
  • A certain project-related willingness to travel and flexibility are a matter of course for you
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office programs and very good English skills, optionally also further IT skills (programming languages, etc.)
