Your Responsibilities
- As a Risk Manager with a focus on third-party risk management and business continuity, you will protect SIGNAL IDUNA from unknown risks and significantly strengthen the operational resilience through your work. Your tasks will include:
- Ensuring that risks associated with the use of external services are managed in the same way as if the processes were carried out and controlled by ourselves (e.g., in the context of our strategic partnership with Google Cloud)
- Developing and continuously improving methodological and professional guidelines for risk analyses on outsourcing issues, exit strategies, and contractor evaluations
- Monitoring the application of guidelines and compliance with contractual regulations
- Analyzing relevant regulatory requirements and being responsible for their consideration and implementation
- Coordinating and conducting audits at service providers in a cross-functional team
- Preparing reports and analyses for responsible contract areas, outsourcing responsible areas, and top management

Requirements
- You have a completed university degree in business administration, economics, computer science, mathematics, or a comparable qualification
- You have a good understanding of information and communication technology and the associated risks
- You are interested in risk management and corporate governance and have ideally already gained experience in this field
- You bring above-average goal, result, and performance orientation
- You have a high willingness to learn, enjoy analytical tasks, and have a self-dependent and structured way of working, as well as communicative and coordinative talent
- First-hand knowledge of the insurance industry and methods for evaluating and assessing risks is an advantage
- You are interested in dealing with regulatory requirements and working at the interface with supervisory authorities
- You have fluent German and good English skills in writing and speaking
