Job Title: Legal Counsel Electronics

Allegion EMEA BV is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join its Electronics business unit. As a key member of the legal team, you will play a crucial role in managing and advising on a wide range of general legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive and business-oriented advice on commercial, corporate, and M&A, regulatory, risk management, dispute resolution, and contract management matters.
  • Commercial contract drafting, negotiation, review, and interpretation, as well as managing product and commercial disputes.
  • Support ensuring EU regulatory compliance, including information and cyber security compliance, by ensuring management and employees adhere to regulatory rules, company policies, and Allegion's Code of Conduct.
  • Advice on resolution of labor and employment matters.
  • The above fields may include managing outside counsel and making recommendations directly to management regarding strategy and resolutions of these matters.
  • Deliver legal training sessions on a variety of topics to enhance the skills and knowledge of Allegion's workforce.
Requirements:
  • Unquestionable integrity and values.
  • German qualified lawyer.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience in legal matters, ideally gained in a law firm or in-house counsel role, including relevant international legal experience.
  • Fluent in German and English, with desirable Dutch language skills.
  • Proven experience in business law, strong business curiosity, ICT, IP, and data protection experience a plus.
  • Collaborative and proactive nature, team player, excellent communications and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to stand firm on issues with business clients when necessary.
