Corporate Communications Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our team at SMARTENERGY Group AG. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies and marketing campaigns that align with our corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and document our attendance and visibility at business conferences
  • Research and monitor relevant events around the globe, with a focus on Germany
  • Manage relationships with external communication partners, such as event producers, associations, and suppliers
  • Quality control before and during events
  • Manage and coordinate partners and clients
  • Plan and organize internal events, such as workshops and team events
  • Plan and organize project trips, VIP meetings, and first stone ceremonies
  • Book artists, speakers, flights, hotels, and meetings
  • Create social media content
  • Research and develop promotional items
  • Support our country and business units in marketing and PR activities
  • Conduct research and analysis to support communication activities
  • Monitor and report the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make recommendations for improvements
  • Contribute to internal communication channels, such as the intranet and internal newsletters
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and delivering operational support that elevates team performance within a fast-paced organization
  • Ability to identify and assess relevant events, media channels, and partners
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle ambiguity with grace
  • Excellent communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and experience creating engaging content
  • Proficient in MS Office. Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud are a plus
  • Fluent in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Portuguese, Spanish, and/or Italian are a plus
