About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at cflox GmbH. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our market platform, working closely with our Product Owner and agile cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and efficient backend solutions to support business growth.
- Take ownership of green-field projects in finance and other on-side projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of our services, working closely with our IT team to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with our Product Owner to define and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Java and Spring.
- Passion for emerging technologies and a solid understanding of software paradigms and design principles.
- Broad experience with Java frameworks, including Spring, Hibernate, and JUnit.
- Experience with relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Strong testing habits, with experience in Jest and other testing frameworks.
