Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our Consulting and Client Service Team at Verisk Analytics. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our clients understand and manage their catastrophe risk profile.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong relationships with model users and consumers of model results within our clients
- Learn their workflows and objectives, and provide proactive service to help them avoid pitfalls and to leverage our solutions optimally
- Respond to client questions in a timely manner and help bring them to a speedy and accurate resolution by working collaboratively with our internal teams
- Perform a wide range of risk analyses in support of consulting projects, client support, and internal initiatives
- Lead the on-boarding efforts for new clients, including training, workflow design, and the usage and interpretation of model results
- Support model and product change management efforts when model updates or new features are introduced in our software
- Provide input to our internal teams regarding the evolution of our products based on client feedback and your internal usage of our products
- Collaborate with our business development team in a technical and a pre-sales support capacity
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, actuarial science, engineering, physics, geo-sciences, and business or computer science

- Talent to summarize, contextualize, and communicate complex issues
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time
- Detail and results orientated
- Ability to analyze data using tools like Excel, SQL, and scripting languages
- Fluency in German and English
