Contract Negotiator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Exyte. As a Contract Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by managing contracts, negotiating terms, and resolving disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contract-related correspondence with customers and contractors/suppliers
- Participate in construction meetings on site and derive To Do lists for performance changes
- Evaluate and negotiate supplements in terms of reason and amount
- Daily exchange with the senior site manager on site to implement contractual measures
- Prepare escalation issues for project management
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, economics, or related field
- Several years of experience in project management, construction supervision, or claims management
- Excellent knowledge of contract and supplement management, construction management aspects, and construction time extension claims
- Technical understanding of plant construction and scheduling
- Knowledge of BGB contract law and ability to process contractual aspects in writing
- Mobility (at least 4 days a week on the construction site)
- Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility
- Fluent German
