Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Manager for our Wax Additives business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our global wax additives business by increasing profitability through value-based pricing strategies in key business line areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a portfolio strategy for sustainable growth in alignment with the business unit, market, and technology.
  • Manage and optimize the product portfolio regarding market demands, pricing, technical requirements, performance, and innovations.
  • Manage the innovation pipeline for the segment and work in close partnership with R&D to prioritize innovation projects based on financial projections and strategic fit.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure the product portfolio meets customer needs and is well positioned in the market.
  • Monitor regional market demand and define capacity needs as well as products to focus on.
  • Develop a sufficient marketing approach for the portfolio and develop marketing strategies based on corresponding analyses and trends.

Requirements

  • University degree with a scientific, technical, or business orientation.
  • Specialist expertise in chemistry is a plus.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and reporting systems is a plus.
  • Excellent data analysis, planning, and demonstrated strategic and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in German and/or English, both written and spoken, Dutch would be a plus.
