We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Manager to drive the growth and development of our wax additives business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase profitability and market share.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a portfolio strategy for sustainable growth, aligned with business unit, market, and technology goals.
- Manage and optimize the product portfolio to meet market demands, pricing, technical requirements, performance, and innovations.
- Lead the innovation pipeline for the segment, working closely with R&D to prioritize projects based on financial projections and strategic fit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product portfolio meets customer needs and is well-positioned in the market.
- Monitor market demand and define capacity needs, developing business cases to support investment in new products or capacity expansion.
- Develop a marketing approach for the portfolio, based on corresponding analyses and trends.
- Support end-use organization in utilizing the product portfolio and proactively support the commercial team in identifying new opportunities and expanding our value proposition and market influence.
- Extensive technical and commercial experience in the wax additives industry, with a focus on product management, sales, or business development.
- Excellent networking and communication skills.
- University degree with a scientific, technical, or business orientation.
- Specialist expertise in chemistry is a plus.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Good knowledge of SAP and reporting systems is a plus.
- Excellent data analysis, planning, and strategic and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Very good presentation skills and strong moderation skills.
- Fluent in German and/or English, both written and spoken, Dutch would be a plus.
- Resilience, perseverance, and negotiation skills are a must.
