Staff Engineer Analog Verification Software Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our Analog Verification Software team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing methods to improve the effectiveness and quality of IC product development and verification.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tools and methodologies to improve IC product development and verification
- Coordinate closely with internal customers and EDA vendors to ensure requirements are met
- Evaluate and improve tools and methodology based on defined requirements
- Implement extensions in existing software solutions for automation of analog/mixed-signal verification
- Integrate adapted or new tools and methodology into existing design flows
- Write necessary specifications and documentation throughout the project
- Perform trainings for users
- Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering or similar) and 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Very good knowledge of object-oriented software development (e.g. Python, C++) and scripting (e.g. Python, Perl, Cadence SKILL, Bash) on Unix/Linux and Windows
- Agile software development methods (e.g. SCRUM) is a plus
- Knowledge of graphical user interface (GUI) development frameworks such as Qt5/Qt6 and testing frameworks (e.g. pytest)
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence/machine learning is an advantage
- Good knowledge of EDA tools and simulation of analog/mixed-signal circuits (Cadence Virtuoso/ADE, SPICE/mixed-signal simulators)
- Fluent English skills as well as presentation and negotiation skills, German is a plus
