Head of Quality Opportunity

Scienta is proud to present an exciting new opportunity as a Head of Quality within a leading Industrial Biotech located in the Munich area. Our client is a renowned industry leader in Protein development, with multiple industrial uses and a strong focus on large-scale manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the implementation of the Quality Management System in line with ISO standards, customer requirements, and the company's strategy and policies.
  • Establish and enhance quality control processes at production partners in the fields of biotechnology, fiber spinning, and fast-moving consumer goods.
  • Establish and enhance quality assurance processes to meet customer quality expectations.
  • Proactively assess and evaluate quality deviations, initiate root cause analysis, and identify improvement and preventive measures.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with key customers and manufacturing partners.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Lead the company's quality team and cultivate personnel development.
  • Contribute to multimillion supply and customer contracts through quality agreements and ensure implementation and fulfillment.
  • Establish, maintain, and further develop monthly QM reporting using state-of-the-art tools.
  • Closely collaborate with heads/process owners of business functions.
  • Contribute to the development of HSE management.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as Head of Quality or a corresponding role.
  • Proven experience leading a quality function in an international company with industrial production and outsourced production.
  • Experience in negotiation with large international stakeholders - CMOs & Customers.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly ISO 9001.
  • Work experience in biotech, chemical industry, and/or fiber spinning industry is a plus.
  • Scientific background/Degree is ideal.
  • Fluent language skills in English are necessary, German is a bonus.
