Job Description: Safety & Compliance Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety & Compliance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs across all aspects of our business.
- Safety Program Development & Implementation: Design, implement, and continuously improve occupational safety processes and programs aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies. Create comprehensive operating instructions and hazardous substance registers to ensure safe work practices.
- Incident Investigation & Prevention: Analyze workplace accidents, assess root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness and promote a culture of safety.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations. Stay abreast of industry standards and best practices to maintain a proactive approach to risk management.
- Collaboration & Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including management, employees, and external partners. Effectively communicate safety policies, procedures, and updates to all relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a strong emphasis on safety management.
- Proven experience as a Safety Specialist, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
