About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Tank Container Competence Center - EMEAI. As the Head of this critical function, you will be responsible for driving commercial and operational activities in the EMEAI region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial activities for the EMEAI region, developing and executing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the operational activities for Germany, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the global Tank Container leadership team to provide tactical and strategic direction, aligning with the company's overall objectives.
  • Develop and execute the tank container strategy for the EMEAI region, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of approximately 28 people, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Deliver key performance and financial objectives, driving business results and contributing to the company's overall success.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in the tank container industry, with a strong understanding of the market and its dynamics.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of success in driving commercial and operational activities.
  • Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in logistics or a related field, with equal qualifications considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in seafreight, with a strong understanding of logistics software and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility, focusing on results and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
