About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our Tank Container Competence Center - EMEAI. As the Head of this center, you will be responsible for driving the commercial and operational activities for the EMEAI region, while collaborating with the global Tank Container leadership team to execute the tank container strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial activities for the EMEAI region, including developing and executing business plans to drive growth and revenue.
  • Lead the operational activities for Germany, ensuring seamless execution of tank container operations.
  • Engage and collaborate with the global Tank Container leadership team on tactical and strategic direction, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Execute the tank container strategy for the EMEAI region, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team of approximately 28 people, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their growth and success.
  • Responsible for delivering key performance and financial objectives, driving business results and improving operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in the tank container industry, with a strong understanding of the market and its dynamics.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in logistics or a related field, with equal qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in seafreight, with a strong understanding of logistics software and systems.
  • Strong analytical skillset, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
