Job OverviewThe Manager in Training (MIT) program is a comprehensive, multi-week training program designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a management role at Abercrombie & Fitch.
Through a blend of classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and mentorship, MITs gain a deep understanding of the company's operations, including store management, visual merchandising, and human resources.
Key responsibilities of the MIT role include:
- Assisting store managers with daily operations
- Developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Building and maintaining a high-performing team
Successful completion of the MIT program is the first step towards a leadership career at Abercrombie & Fitch. The company strongly advocates for promotion from within, and many of its senior leaders have progressed through the MIT program.
RequirementsTo be considered for the MIT program, candidates must possess:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Strong problem-solving skills
