In-House Legal Counsel

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Lawyer to join our team at expondo. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance and advice to our CEO, CFO, and other senior executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage legal risk and prevention of major issues within the business
  • Provide legal guidance on international E-Commerce law, including commercial trading law, data protection, competition law, corporate law, and employment law
  • Manage a portfolio of legal services and be the gatekeeper to who and when these are used
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts in English, Polish, and German
  • Identify and analyze relevant legal developments and derive necessary adaptation measures
  • Communicate with external lawyers and authorities
  • Coordinate and execute lawsuits

Requirements

  • Self-reliant advice to management and employees on all legal issues and development of practical solutions
  • Studies in Law, fully qualified lawyer
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international environment, preferably in one or more of the listed legal areas
  • Experience in e-commerce legal issues would be a big asset
  • Interested in a wide range of legal activities
  • Fluent in English and either Polish or German
  • Careful, independent, structured, and reliable way of working as well as quick comprehension
  • Hands-on mentality, strong interpersonal and communications skills
