The Mathematics Specialist will provide instructional support and learning assistance to students, working closely with faculty to develop programs and resources. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering instruction and learning assistance to individual students and groups
- Collaborating with faculty to design and implement tutoring and resource programs

Requirements
To be successful in this role, the Mathematics Specialist will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in a mathematics-related field, such as mathematics, statistics, or mathematics education
- Two years of experience in learning assistance and/or teaching
- Strong knowledge of mathematics skills, including basic math through college algebra
- Knowledge of best practices in Learning Assistance and Mathematic Education
- Ability to assess student learning needs and recommend individualized learning plans
- Skills in designing effective instructional materials and communicating with faculty and students
