Job Title: Tech Lead

At AppLike Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to join our team. As a key member of our mobile ad platform, you'll be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of engineers and driving the development of our cutting-edge advertising and monetization solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate business needs into projects and features to be implemented across backend, frontend, and infrastructure systems.
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Identify growth needs and hire to grow the team when necessary.
  • Work with a product lead to plan, implement, and report objectives and key results for the team.
  • Implement features for our 70+ microservices in our Go backend.
  • Contribute to infrastructure improvements through IaC changes on Terraform.
  • Investigate issues by analyzing logs and data.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience working on the backend of large-scale production systems built in Go, Java, PHP, Rust, C#, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Expertise in Go development, or a willingness to learn and ramp up proficiency in Go within a short period.
  • Experience as a team lead or mentor, guiding developers, giving feedback, and directing technical aspects of products.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, identifying issues through application logs and data in SQL-compatible data stores.
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand the business in-depth and how technology can be used to solve problems and enhance business outcomes.
  • Technical generalist with mastery of one aspect of development, but also able to jump into any technology or stack as needed.
  • Expertise in deploying cloud technologies, with an understanding of abstractions and underlying systems on which applications run.
