Environmental Social Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Social Governance (ESG) specialist to join our team at Magna Mirrors Holding Sailauf. As an ESG Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards of environmental, social, and governance practices.
Your primary responsibility will be to act as the sustainability champion and subject matter expert for the Global Magna MML Purchasing team. You will be the point of contact for supplier ESG and will work closely with Magna International, our MML Global Organization, and Divisions to ensure compliance with ESG regulations.
You will be responsible for implementing data tracking tools to support Tier N mapping and identifying supplier risks. You will also work with Global Commodity Management to develop action plans for improvements and ensure that suppliers meet all requirements.
In addition, you will continually track and update Magna MML requirements based on new ESG and government regulations. You will also train, track, and maintain the Supplier ESG portal to ensure compliance with all requirements.
As an ESG and LkSG Coordinator, you will support Global Commodity Management in reviewing supplier dashboards and overall business reviews. You will also collaborate with other Magna ESG and LkSG leads to resolve any shared problems or concerns across Magna.
You will develop ways to embed supplier performance and progress into procurement ways of working, such as supplier scorecards, tenders, carbon pricing, and KPIs. You will also ensure that Magna's ESG-related policies, procedures, and guidelines are distributed and understood, and that required processes are implemented and followed.
Your Responsibilities- Act as the sustainability champion and subject matter expert for the Global Magna MML Purchasing team

- Support Global Commodity Management in reviewing supplier dashboards and overall business reviews
- Collaborate with other Magna ESG and LkSG leads to resolve any shared problems or concerns across Magna
- Develop ways to embed supplier performance and progress into procurement ways of working
- Demonstrated success in satisfying OEM's and Tier 1 suppliers in a complex, competitive automotive market
- Functional experience in areas of strategic planning, manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain management, and supplier quality
- Project Management or Systems implementation experience is preferred
- Complies with the designated ISO/14001 responsibilities related to effective environmental management
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 25% of the time
- Excellent English skills on C1 level mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, manufacturing, engineering, business, or related discipline
- At least 2 years working with ESG programs, including familiarity with local, state, US federal, and European regulations is preferred
- 3-5 years' progressive experience in Purchasing field preferably in an automotive/manufacturing environment
