Job Title: Contract Manager HVDC Service Operations

Hitachi Energy Germany AG is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to support the HVDC service business in Mannheim, Germany.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting contracts, subcontracts, and supply contracts, ensuring that relevant contracts contain appropriate contract terms to protect our interests. They will also develop negotiation strategies, support negotiations, and ensure that contract and claim management methodologies are followed in accordance with applicable procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the drafting of contracts, subcontracts, and supply contracts
  • Develop negotiation strategies and support negotiations
  • Ensure contract and claim management methodologies are followed
  • Provide guidance and leadership on contract-related matters to cross-functional business team members
  • Assist in handling formal dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration proceedings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in EPC power generation, substations, converter stations, grid integration, transmission, or similar industrial plant contract management and subcontract management functions
  • Solid experience in tender phase
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and negotiate in German and English
