Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building an operations/logistics department for our fast-growing global startup. Your primary focus will be on orchestrating end-to-end execution of global transportation of goods, ensuring prompt deliveries based on customer needs.
You will create and strengthen relationships with business partners, building strong long-term partnerships that strengthen our business. Additionally, you will develop a thorough understanding of our business model to implement operational concepts and processes that are cost-efficient and automate business processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Operations/Logistics/Supply Chain Management with a B2B focus, especially in process design and development. You will be able to manage multiple projects across the globe simultaneously, possess out-of-the-box problem-solving abilities, and be motivated and passionate about new ideas and creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build an operations/logistics department for a fast-growing global startup
- Orchestrate end-to-end execution of global transportation of goods ensuring prompt deliveries based on customer needs
- Create and strengthen relationships with business partners, building strong long-term partnerships that strengthen our business
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business model to implement operational concepts and processes that are cost-efficient and automate business processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar
- Experience in Operations/Logistics/Supply Chain Management with B2B focus, especially in process design and development
- Able to manage multiple projects across the globe simultaneously
- Out-of-the-box problem-solving abilities which allow you to quickly and effectively solve any issues that may arise
- Motivated and passionate about new ideas and a creative solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
