Job Title: Director, Operations and Supply Chain

The Dmart Operations & Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Dmart operations and supply chain activities across Europe, Turkey, and APAC (> 300 stores and > 10 DC). This includes overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to optimize Dmart operations and managing the supply chain to ensure product availability and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize Dmart operations across Europe, Turkey, and APAC.
  • Oversee the management of Dmart facilities, including dark stores and DCs.
  • Ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers, meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
  • Manage the supply chain to ensure product availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Ops suppliers and DC / logistics providers.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Dmart operations and supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially the Commercial team) to ensure seamless integration of Dmart operations with other business functions.
  • Manage and develop a team of Dmart operations and supply chain professionals.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in dark stores or offline retail operations and supply chain management across different countries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in Dmart operations and supply chain management.
  • Fluency in English.
