Job Title: German Speaking Legal Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced German speaking legal assistant to join our team at DO Recruitment Advisors. As a legal assistant, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and ensure the smooth operation of our legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers, including drafting, editing, and proofreading documents;
  • Deal with email requests and calendar updates;
  • Support filing, printing, scanning, and archiving of files;
  • Prepare lawyers' expense reports and assist with timesheets;
  • Organize and coordinate travel arrangements, appointments, conferences, and meetings;
  • Assist with internal and external communication;
  • Ensure telephone coverage for internal and external calls with the team;
  • Draft internal emails on behalf of partners;
  • Liaise with other departments in a professional manner to ensure smooth support to lawyers;

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in secretarial studies or administration;
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position;
  • Fluency in German and English;
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Dynamic and 'willing to learn' attitude;
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure;
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team in a confidential manner.
