Job Summary

OSB AG is seeking a highly skilled Software Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our safety-critical embedded software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of safety-critical embedded real-time software for aircraft systems, adhering to RTCA/DO-178B standards, Level A to Level D.
  • Adapt existing test strategies to meet the needs of new applications.
  • Develop and implement software test case specifications against software requirements specifications (high-level requirements testing and low-level requirements testing) using Python or IBM-Rational Test Real-Time (RTRT).
  • Develop and implement low-level and high-level test procedures.
  • Trace test cases against software requirements.
  • Perform manual and automatic software verification tests of developed software in simulation environments and at hardware-in-the-loop test facilities.
  • Generate test reports.
  • Review software test cases and results.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in software or electronic engineering.
  • Have several years of professional experience in software application development.
  • Have good English capabilities, both spoken and written.
  • Have generic knowledge of high-level and low-level software requirements development.
  • Have programming experience in C, Ada95, and/or Assembler code.
  • Have experience in code analysis.
  • Have good knowledge of microprocessor architecture or In-Circuit-Debugger (e.g., Lauterbach).
  • Be experienced with V-model development cycles (preferably for safety-critical software according to RTCA/DO-178), Python Test Script Language, In-Circuit-Debugger (Lauterbach), MISRA guidelines (C), DOORS, DIMENSIONS, Synergy, and IBM-Rational Test Real-Time.
