Job Description

At OSB AG, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Verification Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of safety-critical embedded real-time software for aircraft systems, adhering to RTCA/DO-178B standards.
  • Adapt existing test strategies to meet the needs of new applications.
  • Perform Software Test Case Specification against Software Requirements Specification (High Level Requirements Testing and Low Level requirements testing) using Python or IBM - Rational Test Real Time (RTRT).
  • Develop and implement SW low-level and high-level test procedures.
  • Trace test cases against software requirements.
  • Perform manual and automatic SW verification tests of developed software in simulation environments and at hardware-in-the-loop test facilities.
  • Generate Test Reports.
  • Review Software Test Cases and Results.
Requirements
  • Graduate engineer (software/electronic engineering) with several years of professional experience in software application.
  • Good English capabilities, both spoken and written.
  • Generic knowledge of development of high-level and low-level software requirements.
  • Programming experience in C, Ada95, and/or Assembler Code.
  • Experience in code analysis.
  • Good knowledge of microprocessor architecture or In-Circuit-Debugger (e.g. Lauterbach).
  • Experience with V-model development cycle (preferably of safety-critical software acc. to RTCA/DO-178), Python Test Script Language, In-Circuit-Debugger (Lauterbach), MISRA guidelines (C), DOORS, DIMENSIONS, Synergy, and IBM - Rational Test RealTime.
