About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Utimaco. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our security software solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth testing of pre-boot and kernel-level programs, as well as user mode programs, to identify and report defects.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to provide valuable feedback and enhance the quality of the codebase.
  • Work on the full software development lifecycle, with a focus on testing pre-boot, user-mode, kernel, and encryption functionalities.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester with a focus on system-level software testing, including familiarity with architectures such as x86, x64, and ARM.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify potential issues and vulnerabilities in complex environments.
  • Effective communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and adaptability to evolving technologies.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks relevant to testing, as well as knowledge of debugging tools.
  • Awareness of security principles and best practices for testing and identifying vulnerabilities.
