About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team at Utimaco. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our software solution.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth testing of file encryption clients and administration to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with the QA and development teams to provide valuable feedback and enhance the quality of the codebase.
  • Test administrative, user-mode, and kernel-mode client functions, as well as encryption functionalities, to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in software testing, preferably with experience in Windows environments. Your skills should include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester with a focus on system-level software testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify potential issues and vulnerabilities in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks relevant to testing, as well as knowledge of debugging tools.
  • Awareness of security principles and best practices for testing and identifying vulnerabilities.
