As a key member of the internal audit function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of controls, risk management, and governance processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Group Head of Internal Audit in developing an integrated, value-adding audit function
  • Participating in the setup and updates of the Annual Audit Plan
  • Leading the organization, conduct, and documentation of financial and operational audits
  • Evaluating and improving the effectiveness of controls, risk management, and governance processes

You will ensure that the internal audit function acts as a strong, independent, and objective assurance and consulting function, providing expert guidance to local management and stakeholders.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have:

  • Strong competence in external/internal audit within an international audit firm
  • Preferably experience in internal audit in an international group
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English and German
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Business partnering and strong communication skills
