We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our Data Center Colocation team as a Regional Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, construction, and implementation of enterprise data centers that meet the highest quality and performance standards globally.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with design engineering stakeholders, construction, operations, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Lead projects to fit out data centers to meet evolving customer needs, working closely with vendors and internal teams.
- Act as the engineering representative for the Data Center Field Engineering Team, responsible for the successful delivery of projects.
- Assist in data center site selection, planning, and development, evaluating mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they meet AWS guidelines.
- Work with vendors to review designs for new data centers, incorporating AWS products to ensure designs meet expectations.
- Support construction, commissioning, and handover of new data centers, troubleshooting and resolving site/equipment failures.
- Provide technical support for existing data center upgrades, improving availability, efficiency, and capacity.
- Interface with operating partners, design engineering teams, and other stakeholders to promote consistency and reliability in services delivered.
