About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Tooling Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the initial start-up and processing of all molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and process new, transferred, and modified molds.
  • Participate in the set-up and sampling of new molds.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process, including set-up, tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and workflow.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements.
  • Provide molded components in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures that result in high-quality products.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Lean standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an injection molding environment, specifically with molds.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement culture.
  • Knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems.
