Senior Injection Molding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Injection Molding Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the initial start-up and processing of all molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment. This includes participating in the set-up and sampling of new, transferred, and modified molds, as well as ensuring all aspects of the injection molding process are met, including setup, teardown, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and workflow.

In addition, the Senior Injection Molding Specialist will work with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as required. They will also provide molded components in a timely manner and work with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures that result in the manufacturing of high-quality products.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working in an injection molding environment, specifically with molds. They will also possess knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems, as well as Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement culture. Excellent hand-eye coordination, ability to work quickly and accurately, and basic math skills are also essential.
