Job Title: Director Global Customs

At the Zumtobel Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Global Customs to lead our customs and export control operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international and national laws, regulations, and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customs and Export Control Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive customs and export control strategy to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of customs professionals to ensure the effective implementation of customs and export control procedures.
  • Process Management: Develop and maintain global customs procedures, coordinate corrective actions, and align with internal stakeholders.
  • Audit and Training: Conduct audits, train, and maintain a high level of competency in customs and export control knowledge across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, official authorities, and external partners to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in customs regulations and export control.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher education in a relevant field.
  • Language: Fluency in German and English.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, results-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities.
