We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Expert to join our team at Infineon Technologies AG. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the manufacturability of our automotive products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product development strategies to ensure manufacturability and quality of our automotive products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and resolve field returns and production deviations, including physical and electrical failure analysis.
  • Take ownership of special lot clearance and manage associated risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives for released products, leveraging technical expertise to optimize test costs and evaluate technical implications.
  • Lead yield optimization efforts for released products across multiple frontend and backend production sites.
  • Develop and maintain statistical data evaluation methodologies and tooling landscapes to support product engineering teams.
  • Communicate technical evaluations, conclusions, and derived decisions to a wide range of stakeholders in an international, multicultural environment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Physics/Microelectronics/Semiconductor Technology) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in product engineering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting tools such as Python or VBA, with a strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation.
  • Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to learn German.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills, with experience in complex matrix organizations and customer/stakeholder management.
